To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War 2 a service was held at Bristol Cathedral. The service particularly recognised the part that women had played in the War and veterans from all branches of the women's services were invited to take part. The event took place in May 2005 and a plaque was erected in commemoration.
The pictures below show some of the veterans on parade in May 2005.
